Tawakal Women and Children's Organisation is pleased to announce the successful completion of a one-month training program on CCTV and fingerprinting systems. This program was conducted at the Tawakal Vocational Training Center and involved 20 enthusiastic girls from the local community.
The comprehensive training aimed to equip participants with essential skills in surveillance and security technologies, areas that are increasingly critical in today's world. Over the course of the month, the trainees received hands-on experience and theoretical knowledge under the guidance of experienced professionals in the field.

Tawakal Women and Children's Organisation recently held a crucial workshop aimed at raising awareness about Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting (FGM/C) for community leaders from Digaale IDPs and M. Mooge IDPs. This workshop took place in Hargeisa, Somaliland, and focused on educating and empowering community leaders to take a stand against this harmful practice.
The workshop brought together influential leaders from these communities to discuss the severe impacts of FGM/C on women and girls and to explore strategies for its prevention. The session was interactive, providing participants with comprehensive information about the physical, psychological, and social consequences of FGM/C.

Tawakal Women and Children's Organisation is proud to announce the distribution of a full month's worth of food supplies to 15 vulnerable households in Darasalam village, M. Mooge. This initiative is part of the organisation's ongoing efforts to support families in need and enhance food security within the community.
The distribution targeted households identified as the most vulnerable, ensuring that essential food items reached those who need them most. The supplies included staple foods such as rice, flour, sugar, cooking oil, and other essential items to help these families meet their nutritional needs.
Tawakal Women and Children's Organization is a non-profit making non-Governmental Organization established 1996 by Group of women after seen the needs of protection of vulnerable populations: Women and children are often the most vulnerable members of society, and in the absence of strong government institutions, they may face higher risks of abuse, exploitation, and discrimination. Tawakal Women and children organizations established to fill this void by providing essential services, advocating for their rights, Eduction and creating a protective environment for them.

Tawakal women and childrens organisation with partnering Nuuro Eye clinic Center conducted free eye testing for 15 women and Girls who are studying the tailoring training program at Tawakal skills center.
